We have rave reviews and assurances that everyone enjoyed this community celebration! Festivities began at 4 pm with gathering, dancing, drumming and singing in front of the Shatford Centre. Everyone was invited to be part of this event with drumming, dancing and singing. Around 6 pm, everyone entered the Shatford Centre where the Opening of the Resurgence Exhibition took place! After the opening there was a community feast. There was entertainment after dinner. The event was free with donations to the En’owkin Centre & Okanagan School of the Arts for their work with arts and culture!

We were very pleased to provide support for this event with space, facilities and resources. 2017 is such an important year with Canada’s 150th being celebrated across the country so this event fit really well during such an important time for our country.
