Family history presentation – Nov 30 Shatford

Nola Reid, President of the South Okanagan Genealogical Society, will be giving a
presentation for the Creative for Life, Pioneers & Places series, Thursday, Nov. 30 10 am at the Shatford Centre.
Attendees are invited to come and see just what genealogy and finding ancestors is all about and to have  an opportunity for Nola to answer questions about genealogy research.
The SOGS, formed in 1963, is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and assisting  individuals to research and compile their own family histories, covering the areas of Penticton,  Summerland, Kaleden, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos.
