Fabric Playshop – No Sewing Required!
Create a one of a kind piece of fabric art in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Let your imagination out to play and create one of a kind fabric using ink dyes, fabric markers and paint. Create a picture, cover a journal, use it in your next mixed media project or wrap a gift in it. There are so many great ways to use ‘upcycled fabric! Gayle Walford is a textile artist who specializes in transforming discarded fabric and developing fun ways to use it.
No sewing is required but participants can choose to use a needle and thread to embellish their creations with beads, buttons and other materials. Participants are encouraged to bring a picture frame with them if they think they might frame their finished piece.
