Fabric Playshop – No Sewing Required!

Create a one of a kind piece of fabric art in a fun and festive atmosphere.

Let your imagination out to play and create one of a kind fabric using ink dyes, fabric markers and paint.  Create a picture, cover a journal, use it in your next mixed media project or wrap a gift in it.  There are so many great ways to use ‘upcycled fabric!  Gayle Walford is a textile artist who specializes in transforming discarded fabric and developing fun ways to use it.

No sewing is required but participants can choose to use a needle and thread to embellish their creations with beads, buttons and other materials.  Participants are encouraged to bring a picture frame with them if they think they might frame their finished piece.

No art experience is required.  Any questions please email Gayle at freemotionfun@gmail.com

Okanagan School of the Arts members pay $35 – please call the office to register.
